Rhythm and Brews

Get ready to rock and enjoy some cold beverages. Revello’s Pizza hosts “Rhythm and Brews” on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Montage Mountain Resort, 1000 Montage Mountain Rd., Scranton. The event features several musical tributes to legendary rock musicians Billy Joel, Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews Band, as well as samplings of craft beers, ciders and seltzers. Framing Moments

The Sordoni Art Gallery at Wilkes University, 141 S Main St., Wilkes-Barre, celebrates its 50th anniversary with an exhibition of “Framing Moments: Photography from the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts” from now until Sunday, Feb. 4. The exhibition features photographs collected by the KIA during its history, from the 19th century to the current day, reviewed by curator Dr. Deborah Willis. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday, noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday-Sunday, and closed on Mondays and university holidays. Admission to the gallery is free to the public. Ghost Walks

Fans of ghost stories and tales of Jim Thorpe’s historic downtown buildings are in luck. Jim Thorpe Rotary Club hosts “Ghost Walks in Old Mauch Chunk” on Friday-Sunday nights in November from now until Sunday, Nov. 18. The tours begin at 7 p.m. at The Inn at Jim Thorpe, 24 Broadway, Jim Thorpe. Although not frightening, tours are not recommended for children younger than 7. Electric City Pinball Show

For all the pinball wizards, Electric City Pinball Show hosts its inaugural event at Groove Brewing, 1401 Sanderson, Ave., Scranton, on Friday, Nov. 10, from 4 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 11, from noon to 9 p.m. The 21-and-older event features pinball and arcade machines, as well as a food truck and two pinball tournaments, “best game” and women’s division. Lonestar

Country’s Lonestar takes the stage at Mount Airy Casino Resort on Friday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. in the resort’s event center. Known for its 1999 hit single “Amazed,” Lonestar is a staple of the modern country music scene since the 1990s. Tickets for the 21-and-older show cost $45 and $50.
