Get in the giving spirit at the 10th annual Stuff the Bus for Toys-For-Tots.
Set for Thursday, Dec. 5, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lackawanna Transit Center, 30 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton, the yearly giving opportunity will see volunteers from Rock 107, COLTS and ATU Local 168 stuffing Holly the Trolley with new, unwrapped toys donated by the community. The volunteers also will accept cash donations.
The public also can drop off donations on the Spruce Street side of Lackawanna County Courthouse Square, Scranton, that day between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Marines and Santa will be at the event all day, and radio personality Prospector from Rock 107 (which is owned by Times-Shamrock Communications, parent company of The Times-Tribune) will broadcast live from the in the morning. Surprises also will be announced throughout the day.
