The fifth annual Tasting by the Book fundraiser will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Abington Community Library, 1200 W. Grove St.
“It’s the library’s signature fundraiser and it has really expanded,” Project Manager Renee Roberts said. “We have different cooks come, and some have been back every year. A variety of people come through our doors and bring more friends as the years go on.”
Attendees will be able to sample bites, including appetizers, entrees and desserts, from various food stations while sipping wine and craft beer, and listening to live music by Mike Waskovich.
Some of the food options will be a sauerkraut salad, marinated shrimp, assorted fruit, cocktail wieners, soups and desserts.
“The night is all about food, friends and fun,” Roberts said.
Tickets are $20, which will include two drinks and bites at each food station. They can be purchased at the library or through Eventbrite by following a link on the library’s Facebook page.
