A benefit facilitated by Damien Dillon will be held at the Hazleton art League in support of the VALOR Clinic Foundation, which helps veterans in need.
Anyone planning to attend the event on Saturday, July 31, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. should bring a physical donation that may include canned fruit (pop top), individual V8 juices, canned corn or string beans, 1-pound bags of brown rice, hygiene products, men’s and women’s deodorant, men’s and women’s underwear, shaving cream, men’s jeans and/or Q-Tips.
A separate $5 separate admission will benefit the art league.
Music will be performed by Word Play and Corey Kizer and their will be spoken word poetry by Marcus Colasurdo.
Food and refreshments will be provided by Senape’s Bakery, The Bread and Pastry Shop and more. Everyone is welcome to attend and assist area veterans.
