The high school tennis season is past the halfway point and as things are playing out, defending champion Abington Heights is on track to square off against Scranton Prep in a revival of the yearly rivalry.

Last week, Abington Heights responded to a challenge from undefeated Dunmore and posted a 5-0 win. Scranton Prep also stayed undefeated and also beat Dunmore, but by the score of 3-2. That does make the pending matchup scheduled for one week from today very intriguing.

There are plenty of storylines ahead this week too. But, it appears weather is going to factor into Monday’s schedule.
