Jake Hall’s ability to run North Schuylkill’s high-octane offense guided the Spartans to a District 11 championship.
Brody Robinson’s tackle numbers were among the best in the state, according to MaxPreps.com.
Together, they headline the Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association Dream Team all-star squad.
Hall, a junior quarterback, was named the Dream Team Offensive Player of the Year. He completed 104-of-191 passes for 1,783 yards and 25 touchdowns this season as North Schuylkill went 8-0 and defeated Notre Dame-Green Pond 49-35 in the District 11 Class 3A championship game.
Pottsville senior Adam Stock was named the Dream Team Offensive Line of the Year, while Tri-Valley senior defensive end Chase Herb and Jim Thorpe senior defensive tackle Derek Hunter shared the Defensive Lineman of the Year honor.
North Schuylkill’s Wally Hall was named the Dream Team Coach of the Year after the Spartans finished as the area’s only unbeaten team with an 8-0 mark.
The SCFCA Dream Team was based on players who were named to the first team of either the North or South all-star squads. Head coaches from each of the county’s 16 teams voted on players for those squads, then voted on the Dream Team selections.
