Ice cream is one of my favorite things to eat. With Pennsylvania going green and other states starting to ease pandemic rules here are a few suggestions for a great scoop of ice cream.
Diamond City Dairy – Livingstone Lane, Wilkes-Barre – Hot fudge sundae
Malacari’s Ice Cream – several locations in the Wyoming Valley – Melted Snickers Sundae – vanilla soft serve, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, chopped peanuts and whipped cream.
Frozen Cow – 2285 Memorial Hwy #2, Dallas – Hawaiian Delight Sundae – pineapple dole whip with crushed pineapple and cherries, shaved coconut and whipped cream
Milkhouse Creamery, several locations in Luzerne County – two scoops – on left Purple Cow (raspberry ice cream with Oreo pieces) and Santa’s Secret Cocoa (Swiss and Dutch chocolate ice cream with sweet cherries, chocolate flakes and cherry swirl)
Batch Microcreamery at The Market in Allentown – 27 N 7th St., Allentown – a flight of ice cream – Candy Corn, Coffee & Donuts, Strawberry Cheesecake and Bourbon Vanilla.
University of Connecticut Dairy Bar – 17 Manter Rd, Storrs, CT – The Cone of Plenty – pumpkin ice cream, cinnamon caramel swirl ice cream, caramel topping, candy corn and whipped cream served in pumpkin waffle cone.
Starbucks Reserve – Chelsea Markets 61 9th Ave, New York, NY – Shakerato Affagato – espresso and vanilla syrup shaken, pour over Blue Marble vanilla ice cream and mint sprigs.
