Came across this interesting tale of the Gorbals Vampire and I thought it would be the perfect distraction – for at least a short while.
The story goes on September 23, 1954 hundreds of children armed with sticks and rocks invaded a Glasgow, Scotland cemetery to hunt down and kill a vampire. Days after the pint sized invasion the Scranton Times ran a Associated Press story dealing with the events of September 23. Here is that story –
