A concert to benefit Gary Lucas, a third generation Schuylkill County coal miner who is fighting cancer, will be held beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, in the Fountain Springs Fire Company Hall.
The concert will be BYOB; good-will offerings will be collected at the door with all proceeds going to Lucas’ family for expenses. The concert will feature songs about coal mining heritage. Performers will include well-known entertainers Jay Smar, The Break Boys with Tommy Simons and Stu Richard, Hank Ahrensfield and Van Wagner.
