ColourPop launches foundation that probably costs less than your lunch

Call it kiss-met.

I was in the midst of writing a blog post about my serious love of ColourPop Cosmetics’ No Filter Concealer this afternoon when the brand announced on Instagram that it’s about to launch a FOUNDATION.

ColourPop No Filter Foundation is set to drop Thursday, June 14, at 1 p.m. (EST) The lightweight, longwear, full-coverage foundation will come in 42 shades (for reference, Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r foundation comes in 40 shades) with a “natural, matte finish with soft blurring technology,” according to ColourPop’s Instagram post.

Ready for the best part? It’s only $12.

TWELVE. DOLLARS. That’s less than my lunch cost today.

If you’re not familiar, ColourPop is known for low prices but seriously high-quality cosmetics. Eighty percent of my makeup is Colourpop and I can bet all of those products combined are less than the cost of the rest. Right now, No Filter Foundation will only be available online on the brand’s website which can be difficult for accurate color-matching. But at such a low price, it’s not a huge deal to buy two or three to ensure a match. Besides, I have a few little tips on how to get your best color match when shopping online. I’m in love with No Filter Concealer’s creamy, blendable consistency, it’s color-match ability and how great it looks and feels. The No Filter line will also include No Filter Sheer Matte Powder ($9), two foundation brushes ($8-$9) and No Filter Loose Setting Powder ($9).
