D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc. on Tuesday announced the official launch of Yuengling Raging Eagle Mango Beer, a pilsner made with natural mango flavor.

“This contemporary addition to Yuengling’s portfolio is the ideal beverage for legal drinking age adults who are looking for bold, invigorating flavor in their next beer adventure,” the Pottsville brewer, America’s oldest, promoted in a news release. “At 6.0% ABV (alcohol by volume), Raging Eagle is brewed with classic hops for a crisp taste of mango freshness.”

Jen Yuengling, vice president of operations, said the company saw an opportunity to leverage its six generations of brewing expertise” to create a refreshing mango beer that appeals to adventurous drinkers and adds a bold new brand to our portfolio of iconic beers,” targeting the 21-35 young adult.

The beer is now available year-round in 24-ounce cans at convenience stores across Yuengling’s 22-state footprint. More Yuengling Raging Eagle pack configurations will be available later in the year.

Other recent Yuenging releases include Yuengling Golden Pilsner, Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter and Flight by Yuengling. Raging Eagle is the latest product inspired by consumer feedback, the brewer said, noting that “fans can expect more bigger and bolder innovation.”
