Northeast Pennsylvania’s upcoming children’s theatrical season features many renditions of classic productions. Over the next few months there are plenty of shows on display. Here is what’s in store.

‘Peter Pan’

Starring more than 30 children ranging from 5-year-olds to high school seniors, this 1954 Broadway version about a young boy who refuses to grow up is presented by Act Out Theatre Group. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors and are free for ages 3 and younger.

‘Romeo and Juliet’

Join the director and assistant director before the show for a discussion of what is to come throughout the night. Act Out Theatre Group will present Shakespeare’s classic tragic love story for one weekend only. Tickets cost $10.

Reservations for this classic Disney show presented by Phoenix Kids are highly recommended and can be made by calling the box office and leaving a message. Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $5 for children 5 and younger.

The Creative and Performing Arts Academy of NEPA’s Advanced Production students present this show based on the classic Hasbro board game. Some proceeds will go to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter and CaPAA’s Youth Leadership Fund. Tickets cost $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Doors open an hour before the show.

Musical Theatre Dance Class Showcase’
