The Eynon-Archbald Lions Club will host the Ninth Annual Snowflake Gala at Fioreli’s in Peckville on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 6-11 p.m. The proceeds will benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind, a nonprofit organization that trains service dogs to assist the visually impaired. This program allows for a life of confidence, independence and safe mobility.

The evening will feature an open bar, signature cocktail, basket raffle, lottery ticket tree, hors d’ oeuvres, and a chef-inspired meal. Live entertainment will be provided by The Wanabees, Top Shelf Entertainment and Kris Sheridan DJ.
Tickets are $75 and can be purchased by calling Fran Stepkovitch at 570-470-7838.
The event has seen a steady increase in corporate sponsorship, and this extra funding has helped it become larger than anyone thought possible.
“We have many faithful and local business sponsors,” said Karen Rapoch, co-chair. “Without their support and all the guests who attend, the event would not be as much fun or successful.”

Leader Dog allows confidence, independence and safe mobility. The nonprofit has been the answer for thousands of people who are in critical need of services. The nonprofit believes every person deserves equal opportunity for travel and independence.
