These picks are as fresh as they come.

It’s strawberry season in Northeast Pennsylvania and other berry seasons are right around the corner.  Blueberries and raspberries are in season in the beginning of July and blackberries around mid-July.

We rounded up some farms around the region where you can find farm-grown berries or pick them fresh yourself. Most farms’ opening and closing dates depend on crops and their hours vary depending on weather or ripeness. It’s important to check with each farm for daily operating hours and other up-to-date information before you make the trip. Also, remember to follow specific Center for Disease Control guidelines or those provided by farm.
