Restaurants across Northeast Pennsylvania will roll out fancy evenings of food, drink and romance this Valentine’s Day.

But for those of you looking for a different way to celebrate the holiday, we’ve rounded up some creative ways to mark the occasion across the region this month with your sweetheart, your kids and more.

 

Waverly Comm Valentine Party

The free party has a “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” theme and will feature crafts, games and a candy sale. The Comm also will collect peanut butter, jelly, cereal and other nonperishable food items for United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
