Bratislava Boys Choir
The Slovak Heritage Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania with World Artists Experiences and the Embassy of Slovakia will present two local concerts by the Bratislava Boys Choir.
The group will perform first on Wednesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. at St. Ignatius Church, 339 N. Maple St., Kingston, and then on Thursday, May 12, at 7 p.m. at St. Peter’s Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton.
Donations will be accepted for both concerts, which are open to the public.

28th annual Fred Ciotti Memorial Color Run/Walk
Embrace the rainbow at the 28th annual Fred Ciotti Memorial Color Run/Walk.
Set for Saturday, May 14, at 9 a.m. at the Greater Carbondale YMCA, 82 N. Main St., Carbondale, the race will benefit the YMCA’s autism support groups. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and costs $20. The first 300 registrants get a T-shirt, sunglasses and swag bag.
Races are not timed, but the top three male and female finishers will receive trophies. There also will be a basket raffle.

‘The Rainbow Fish Musical’
Catch a performance of “The Rainbow Fish Musical” and enjoy some fun activities on Saturday, May 14, at 1 p.m. at the Marketplace at Steamtown, 300 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton.
Meet the cast, enjoy a reading of Marcus Pfister’s “Rainbow Fish” book and create a craft at Library Express bookstore.
The musical then will take place at Center Court. There also will be goodie bags available for the first 75 children who arrive at the show.

Food Truck Festival
Fill your bellies on Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15, during the Food Truck Festival at SS. Cyril & Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 River St., Olyphant.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days and features food trucks such as R & R Potato Pancakes, Bella Rose, Murt’s Mobile Diner, Pop-Pop’s Grille, Lou’s Concessions, Roseanna’s Pizza, Hog Farm BBQ, Capra Collina Winery, Murt’s Desserts, Udder Delights and more.
There also will be a money raffle, games for kids, face painting, free balloons and more entertainment. Proceeds will benefit the Ukraine Humanitarian Effort via the Archeparchy of Philadelphia.
