Catch John Mulaney on stage when he brings his “From Scratch” tour to Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, 255 Highland Park Blvd., Wilkes-Barre Twp.

The show takes place Friday, March 11, at 7 p.m. The parking lot opens at 4:30 p.m.

The show is a phone-free experience, so phones, smartwatches and accessories will not be permitted in the performance space and will be collected in Yondr pouches.

Tickets start at $59.50 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com.

Mulaney is a former “Saturday Night Live” writer who has hosted the show several times, released multiple TV specials and voiced characters such as Spider-Ham in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and Andrew Glouberman in the Netflix series “Big Mouth.”

Blues rocker and two-time Grammy bominee Joe Bonamassa will perform Monday, March 14, at F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, 71 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 8.

JCC Purim Carnival

The Scranton Jewish Community Center, 601 Jefferson Ave., will a host a Purim Carnival on Sunday, March 13, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The free, all-ages event is open to everyone and will feature games, music, crafts, food and entertainment provided by EJ the DJ. There also will be a costume contest

‘Soda Can Pop: An American High School Shooting’

NEPA Youth Shelter and REV Theatre Company have teamed up to present “Soda Pop Can: An American High School Shooting” on Friday, March 11, at the shelter, 541 Wyoming Ave., Scranton.

The free show begins at 7 p.m. and is directed by REV Theatre’s artistic directors, Rudy Caporaso and Rosey Hay.

Caporaso wrote the hour-long show which was developed with the help of teens from the shelter and Scranton area. It includes original music created by shelter program participants.

Ski Day for Timmy’s Town

Hit the slopes for Timmy’s Town Center Ski Day on Saturday, March 12, at Elk Mountain, 344 Elk Mountain, Road, Union Dale.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Guests can get lift tickets for $25, and they are good for four consecutive hours during that time.

A race will take place on the West Slope beginning at 1 p.m. Entry fee is $5 per run.
