Ninth annual Pittston City St. Patrick’s Parade
Pittston will be painted green for its ninth annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 5.
The day starts with a special parade-day Mass at 9 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 35 William St., Pittston.
Registration for the annual Leprechaun Loop 5K also begins at 9 a.m. at the Pittston YMCA, 10 N. Main St. The 5K starts at 10:30. Prizes will be awarded to the top runners and for the best costumes. To register, visit runsignup.com/Race/PA/Pittston/LeprechaunLoop.
The parade kicks off at 11:30 a.m. on Main Street.

‘Blippi: The Musical’
“Blippi: The Musical” comes to Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, 255 Highland Park Blvd., Wilkes-Barre Twp., on Tuesday, March 8, at 6 p.m.
The live-action production featuring the popular kids’ show character will feature 13 family-friendly songs and dancing.

Undaunted: A Benefit for the Women’s Resource Center
Artwork by Rachel Walter and Allison LaRussa will be on display during the exhibit, “Undaunted: A Benefit for The Women’s Resource Center.”
The event begins Friday, March 4, at 5 p.m. at the Bog, 341 Adams Ave., Scranton. Saturbae will provide hits from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. There also will be interactive artwork for participants to express themselves and raffle baskets.
Proceeds will go to the Women’s Resource Center, which strives to end sexual and domestic violence against not only women but also children, teenagers and men.

‘Grace: A Concert Celebrating Our Musicians’
Keystone College’s Department of Performance Music presents “Grace: A Concert Celebrating Our Musicians” on Sunday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Theatre at Brooks, 1 College Green, La Plume.
The performance features the KC Symphonic Band, Chorale at Keystone, Chamber Singers and Jazz Ensemble. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Audience members must wear masks and are encouraged to arrive early because seating is limited. COVID-19 protocols will be followed.

Montage Mountain Mountainfest
The Spin Doctors and the Verve Pipe will perform at Mountainfest on Saturday, March 5, at Montage Mountain Resorts, 1000 Montage Mountain Road, Scranton.
Pond skimming registration opens at 11 a.m., and a DJ will provide entertainment at that time entertainment. The Verve Pipe will open the concert at 2:30 p.m., and the Spin Doctors will perform at 5.
Troegs Independent Brewing presents the event, which Montage season pass holders get free access to. Visitors also can buy a lift ticket specifically for Mountainfest or a general admission concert ticket. VIP Premium Access Packages also are available.
