Santa’s annual Tour of Peckville

Santa is coming to town on Thursday, Dec. 23, on the Wilson Fire Company No. 1 Fire Truck.

Santa’s annual Tour of Peckville begins at 5 p.m. from 700 Erie St. Candy will be distributed to everyone on the tour route.

Parents may request a personal visit from Santa by calling the non-emergency number, 570-383-2286, and leaving a message with their name, address and phone number.

Silent Disco Art Walk

Art and music mix for a night on the town when the Silent Disco Art Walk takes place Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 6:30 p.m.

Participants will listen to music through headsets while tour guides take participants to several art galleries to view art, creative media and more. Guests will begin the tour at AFA Gallery, 101 Penn Ave, Scranton. Three channels of music will be available, and the whole event will take about two hours.

Masks are required, and participants should dress for the weather. Registration is strongly encouraged and can be done through eventbrite.com.

Twelve Twenty-Four

Holiday rock orchestra Twelve Twenty-Four will perform some seasonal favorites in an all-ages show on Thursday, Dec. 23, at 7 p.m. at Theater at North, 1539 N. Main Ave., Scranton.

Tickets cost $25 to $30 and can be purchased by calling 570-800-5020 or visiting thetheateratnorth.com or the box office. The box office is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m.; and on Thursday, Dec. 23, starting at 5 p.m.

SUZE Christmas XII

Jam to SUZE Christmas XII on Saturday, Dec. 25, at 8 p.m. at River Street Jazz Cafe, 667 N. River St., Plains Twp.

Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9. The band will perform a cover of “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tickets cost $12 in advance and are available by visiting riverstreetjazzcafe.com.

Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights takes place now through Friday, Dec. 31, at Stone Hedge Golf Course, 55 Stonehedge Drive, Tunkhannock Twp.

The drive-through Christmas display open at 5 p.m. daily. After the lights, attendees can gather around fire pits and grab some food or drinks. The display is open every night except Christmas Eve.

Admission costs $25 per vehicle on Mondays through Thursdays and $30 per vehicle on Fridays and Sundays.
