The 106th annual Pennsylvania Farm Show runs from Saturday, Dec. 8, through Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, 2300 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg.
The farm show features a 1000-pound butter sculpture, farmer’s market, beer competition and much more.
Cash and credit cards will be accepted for parking; however, concession stands will only accept credit cards.
Masks are recommended for everyone 2 and older.

Trivia Nights
A pair of trivia nights with Trivia Master Brad are coming to local breweries.
Marvel Cinematic Trivia will take place Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m. at Susquehanna Brewing Co., 635 S. Main St., Pittston. A food truck will be on site. For more information, visit sbcbeer.com or call 570-654-3557.
Harry Potter fans, meanwhile, can participate in trivia focusing on that series on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at Breaker Brewing Co., 787 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre Twp. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 570-392-9078.
Signups for both nights begins at 6:30 p.m. Participants can bring a pen for bonus points.
Act Out Theatre Group, 150 E. Grove St., Dunmore, presents “Wine, Cheese and Murder” from Friday, Jan. 7, through Sunday, Jan. 9.
Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Space Mead and Cider Works provide tastings in the lobby prior to the shows.
The story focuses on a vineyard owner who invites a wine expert to hold a tasting, but a murder then leads to an investigation.
Tickets cost $18 for individuals and $105 for a table of eight, which includes a complimentary snack tray and sparkling water.

Snow activities
Learn more about snow during “Discovering Snowflakes” on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Valley Community Library, 739 River St., Peckville.
The event is geared toward ages 6 to 11, but all ages are welcome to participate. A “Snowy Drop-by Craft” will follow at 3 p.m.; crafters can make a snowy forest work of art.
Registration is required for the Discovering Snowflakes program and is strongly encouraged for the Snowy Drop-by Craft.

Dinner and stand-up comedy
Enjoy dinner and a comedy show Saturday, Jan. 8, at the Keystone Stage, 125 Lackawanna Ave., Olyphant.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and dinner provided by the Sanderson Street Tavern will be served at 7.
Comedians performing include Aly Davala, Ben Green, Michelle McDonald and Zack Zorovich with headliner Evan Weiss and host Fat Jay.
