The SheilaMark Duo will be bringing an eclectic sound to the next installment of the Community Concert Series at Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort.

SheilaMark Duo are known for playing a “bit of everything”, including blues, classic rock, Zydeco, German and Irish styles and more.

Lifelong musician Mark Hamza is described as “a consummate, talented performer” who performs with a Hammond organ and accordion. He is the premier Hammond organist in northeast Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York State and has toured with national acts. He plays a Sano accordion that “sounds like no other.”

Vocalist Sheila Stratton-Hamza has been compared to Etta James, KoKo Taylor, Janis Joplin and many Irish/Celtic musicians, seamlessly transitioning from groovy blues to simple and delicate songs. Stratton-Hamza has won awards for her work with Celtic music.
