Tool will play at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, 255 Highland Park Blvd, Wilkes-Barre Twp., later this spring.
The Grammy-winning band will perform along with special guest Blonde Redhead on Friday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Tickets cost $65 to $125, plus fees, go on sale to the public at ticketmaster.com on Friday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m. and at the box office starting Saturday, Feb. 29, at 10 a.m. Customers can buy up to four tickets per order.
Tool Army members only can buy VIP packages starting Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. at Toolband.com/VIP-package; a limited number are available.
Tool has released four multi-platinum studio albums and won four Grammy awards, most recently for best metal performance for the song “7empest.” The Los Angeles-based band released its latest album, “Fear Inoculum,” on Aug. 30
Blonde Redhead is a New York-based trio consisting of Kazu Makino and Amedeo and Simone Pace.
