The 11th annual Stuff the Bus for Toys for Tots toy drive will take place Thursday, Dec. 10, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lackawanna Transit Center, 30 Lackawanna Ave., Scranton. Prospector from Rock 107, a station of Times-Shamrock Communications, which owns The Times-Tribune, will broadcast live from the event.

Several places in Scranton will collect new, unwrapped toys, books and games as well as cash donations for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program ahead of the event: Runway Luxury Boutique, 128 N. Washington Ave.; Downtown Deli and Eatery, 300 Spruce St.; Northern Light Espresso Bar & Cafe, 536 Spruce St.; Scranton City Hall, 340 N. Washington Ave.; the Scranton Fire Department stations at 1917 Luzerne St., 205-207 W. Market St., 1900 East Mountain Road, and 510 Gibbons St.; Hilton Scranton & Conference Center, 100 Adams Ave.; and Century Dental, 205 N. Main Ave. In Peckville, Sylvester Chevrolet, 1609 Main St., also will collect toys.

Prospector will ride “Jolly the Trolley” to pick up the donations. Donors also can drop off items Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the Spruce Street side of Lackawanna County Courthouse Square.
