Railfest has a new date.
Traditionally held over Labor Day weekend, the annual event at Steamtown National Historic Site, 350 Cliff St., Scranton, will now move to June as a way to kick off the summer, the venue has announced.
The 2020 Railfest will take place Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14.
The festival typically involves a wide-ranging celebration of railroading, with special exhibits, excursions and other activities. Details for 2020 are still being determined, Steamtown said in a statement.
