To protect customers from exposure to COVID-19, this week the gas station and convenience store chain Sheetz suspended its self-serve coffee and beverage stations and stopped filling the self-serve bakery case.

Customers can still buy some of those items using the touch screen ordering terminals.

In a message to customers, Sheetz also said it will freeze expiration dates for loyalty points and rewards until July 1, so members, who probably aren’t traveling as much with non-life-sustaining shops and businesses temporarily closed, will be able to use them when restrictions lift.
