Beloved animated specials are headed to WVIA for the holidays.
The Northeast Pennsylvania PBS station will broadcast “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m. and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. on WVIA and WVIA’s PBS Kids 24/7 channel. People also can stream the shows live on the PBS app and at wvia.org.
A high-definition version of the Thanksgiving show began streaming ad-free on Apple TV+ on Nov. 18, and viewers can watch it for free there from Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Saturday, Nov. 27. The Christmas show then will stream there starting Friday, Dec. 4, and will be available for free on Apple TV+ from Friday, Dec. 11, through Sunday, Dec. 13.
