Scranton is passing out a new booklet that encourages families to visit the city’s parks.

The “2020 Parks Passport” features pictures and facts about city parks and includes stamps to cut and paste after visiting.

Residents can pick up copies at Weston Field or at the Dix Court entrance of City Hall.

Mayor Paige Gebhardt Cognetti also urges residents to take photos in the parks and tag them on social media with the hashtag of #ScrantonParks2020. Cognetti will share residents’ photos on the the mayor’s social media accounts.
