The Electric City Trolley Museum, 300 Cliff St., Scranton, is getting in the spirit of the season.
The site will hold several seasonal events in the coming weeks:
- Trolley ride with the Elf on the Shelf: Friday, Nov. 29; arts, crafts, storytelling, letters to Santa and face painting, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; trolley departures, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.
- Santa on the Trolley excursions: Saturday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, 14 and 21, and Sundays, Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22; trolleys depart at 10 and 11 a.m. and 12:30, 2 and 3:30 p.m. Ten-mile round-trip goes from the museum loading platform to the Trolley Works Building at PNC Field and back. Reservations required.
- Children’s Holiday Celebration: Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities include arts and crafts, a visit from Mrs. Claus, a magician, refreshments and music.
