NORTH ABINGTON TWP. — Roba Family Farms donated $1,000 of proceeds it made from a kettle corn and apple-cider doughnut curbside pickup promotion to local food banks, according to the business.
From April 21 through Sunday, the farm ran the promotion to raise money for the CEO/Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank and the Dalton Food Pantry.
The farm is holding another curbside pickup promotion to raise more money for the same food banks. This time, the promotion includes a hanging flower basket from Corky’s Garden Path, a dozen of the farm’s apple-cider doughnuts and some optional hard cider from Lakeland Orchard & Cidery.
