A new live music event will present entertainment throughout a Scranton neighborhood.
Organized by ScrantonMade, the Live Music in the Hill program takes place Saturday, April 17, in the city’s Hill Section and will raise money for the participating musicians.
The program begins at noon with Erin Malloy & Friends at 1425 Ash St. followed by the Jacob Cole Trio at 1:15 p.m. at 844 Taylor Ave., the Bog Swing Group at 2:30 p.m. at 724 N. Irving Ave., Dave Brown at 3:45 p.m. at 941 N. Irving Ave. and Luke Tinklepaugh at 5 p.m. at Crotti’s on Ash, 1431 Ash St.
Audience members are asked to socially distance themselves from people not in their own groups.
In an announcement of the program on its Instagram page, ScrantonMade noted it hopes to continue the program on the third Saturday of every month, weather permitting, if it is successful.
“This is a great way to meet your neighbors, support the arts in your local community and overall add (to) the quality of life here,” ScrantonMade added.
