With the Swingin’ on Vine block party, its major fundraiser, canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, Scranton Public Library has come up with another way to bring in some revenue.
The library will sell T-shirts that “feature a stylized rendering of the Albright Memorial Library building” in downtown Scranton, according to an announcement. The shirts cost $15 and are 100% cotton in a charcoal gray color and are produced with the help of local business Futuristic Innovative Graphics.
Proceeds will benefit the main branch plus the Lackawanna County Children’s Library, Nancy Kay Holmes Branch Library and Library Express in the Marketplace at Steamtown.
