WILKES-BARRE — Letts Eat Flavors of India, located at 78 S. Main St., is closing its doors after eight years.
Letts Eat staff announced the closing in a video posted to the restaurant’s Facebook page on Monday night.
“Despite our success, the Letts Eat staff and management have all mutually decided to end our journey of providing warm meals for everyone to enjoy,” said a member of the Letts Eat staff in the video. “Thank you to all of you for the love and support.”
The video didn’t specify when the restaurant would close, but a sign on the door reads “temporarily closed.”
Husband and wife Abid and Kavita Syed opened the restaurant in 2013 at the corner of East Northampton and South Main streets in a space formerly occupied by Blue Chip Gourmet.
