Lackawanna Markets will offer delivery for local vendors starting this weekend to keep shoppers and sellers healthy and safe during the pandemic.
The partnership of Anthracite Events, the Lackawanna County Arts and Culture Department and Lackawanna County Visitors Bureau, which moved its traditional in-person markets online over the summer because of the coronavirus pandemic, announced it will present Home for the Holidays Weekend from Black Friday (Nov. 27) through Cyber Monday (Nov. 30).
The public can check out a directory of dozens of local small businesses at lackawannamarkets.com that offer a wide range of products and services. The partnership will personally deliver products for the vendors through December so people can patronize the businesses and stay safe.
Also this weekend, Lackawanna Markets will share behind-the-scenes looks at the small businesses and also offer a raffle with NEPA Strong and others to support local companies. For more information, check out the group’s Facebook page and the Home for the Holidays Weekend event page.
