Knoebels Amusement Resort has delayed the start of its 2020 season until further notice.
The Elysburg park had announced in March its intention to delay the opening weekend by two weeks until May 9-10. With remaining uncertainty, and with off-season projects on hold awaiting a return of staff, it announced a likely extended closure Tuesday.
“From campground and cottage reservations, to company picnics and special events, we have a plan in place to address questions and concerns,” a statement reads. “We are managing the situation one week at a time.”
Knoebels is accepting new reservations for June 1 through Nov. 1. However, reservations can be modified based on the actual park opening date.
Contact the park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 800-487-4386 or contact@knoebels.com. Learn more at knoebels.com/COVID19.
