Comedian Jim Gaffigan will perform a special show in the parking lot at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, Wilkes-Barre Twp., on on Saturday, July 18, at 8 p.m.

“Drive-Thru Comic” will see Gaffigan perform on a stage in the arena’s parking lot while the audience remains in its cars and listens via FM radio. The show will take place rain or shine.

Up to four people are allowed in each vehicle, and only passenger vehicles and ADA-accessible vehicles will be allowed (no motorcycles, buses/party buses, limos, bicycles, people on foot and RVs). The show is limited to 1,000 vehicles.

Tickets cost $150 per vehicle for general admission, $250 for Silver Circle and $300 for Gold Circle. The Gold and Silver tickets guarantee guests parking spaces closest to the stage, while general admission tickets are not for specific reserved spaces. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 12, at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com only.

Cars will enter through the main entrance on Highland Park Boulevard, and those with more than four people inside will be denied entry without a refund. Guests must present mobile tickets through the Ticketmaster app for touchless entry.

Parking attendants then will direct vehicles to spots that will be spaced out for proper social distancing, and guests cannot change spaces once parked. Cars must pull forward into the spot instead of backing in.

Pets and alcohol are not allowed, and vehicles could be searched.

No tailgating or congregating outside vehicles will be allowed. Everyone must stay inside their vehicle cabins unless they need to use the restroom or buy concessions (the arena has not yet determined what concessions will be available). Those who leave their vehicles for those reasons must wear masks and follow social distancing recommendations. The arena will frequently clean the portable, single-stall restrooms.
