West Hazleton, Thursday, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Children also can stop at the borough building for candy.
West Scranton (merchants), 3 to 5 p.m.
Friday
Beaver Meadows, 6 to 8 p.m. Residents accepting trick-or-treaters are asked to put their porch lights on. Beaver Meadows Citizens for Recreation will have treats and hot chocolate at the gazebo in Memorial Park. The Halloween decorating contest also will take place that evening; ballots will be available at the gazebo.
Butler Twp. (Luzerne County)
Hazleton, 5 to 8 p.m.
Hazleton Safe Trick-or-Treat at St. John’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall, North Vine and Sixth streets, 6 to 7:30 p.m. There will be special treats for the children and all are welcome.
Wilkes-Barre (downtown), 4 p.m. (Involves closure of South Main Street between Northamton Street and Public Square)
Saturday
Rush Twp., 6 to 8 p.m. All trick-or-treaters must wear reflective gear and carry a flashlight.
Tamaqua, 6 to 9 p.m.
