The beach at Gouldsboro State Park will be closed to swimmers until the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources receives acceptable water sample test results.
The beach closure went into effect Wednesday because of unacceptable water samples.
All other recreational activities at the park remain open to the public, and swimming is available at nearby Tobyhanna State Park.
For more information, call the park office at 570-894-8336.
