Geisinger has revealed the top names for babies delivered at its five Pennsylvania hospitals in 2020.
Ava claimed the top spot among girls’ names, while Liam was the most popular boys’ name, moving up from second place in 2019.
“These results combine different spelling variations of the same name,” Geisinger explained in an announcement. “For example, the ranking for Liam includes variations like Liamm, and Oliver includes variations such as Olliver.”
Geisinger delivered 4,945 babies in 2020 among Geisinger Medical Center; Danville; Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton; Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.; Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital and Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
