The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission will begin welcoming visitors to state-owned historic sites and museums, including Eckley Miners’ Village on Friday with reduced hours of operation and limited capacity.

Eckley officials look forward to seeing visitors return and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the end of June. Officials have implemented full cleaning and sanitizing procedures and set visitation, social distancing and masking requirements in conformance with CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines.

In June, officials will reevaluate the reopening plan and hours, and explore reestablishing site tours, facility rentals and programs and events.
