The Dupont Lions Club, with the help of the Dupont Volunteer Hose Company, will sponsor the Easter Bunny’s visit to Dupont beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27. Rain date is Saturday, April 3.
The Bunny will following the same route Santa used, and will visit every street as much as possible. A link will be posted on Facebook to a “bunny tracker” so people can see where the Bunny parade is in town. Members of the Lions Club will be handing out small gifts to children while supplies last. Participants will practice social distancing and ask people to watch from their yard or porch.
Because of COVID restrictions, this event is taking the place of the traditional Easter egg hunt at the Little League filed that the Lions Club sponsors every year.
