A horse-drawn carriage makes its way through a past Duryea Christmas Stroll.

The fifth annual Duryea Christmas Stroll will take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, on Main Street.

During this event, the public is invited to celebrate an old fashioned Christmas complete with a tree lighting in front of the municipal building, horse-drawn carriage rides, pictures with Santa, Christmas caroling, face painting, assorted vendors, food and much more. The Main Street merchants will be open late with special offers for patrons. And, guests also can vote for the People’s Choice Award for the business with the best decorated Christmas tree.

Any vendors interested in participating in the stroll can find more details or download an application from the 5th Annual Duryea Christmas Stroll Facebook page. Vendor applications are due Saturday, Nov. 23.
