The Lackawanna County Library System’s Library Lecture Series will host writer David Sedaris for the annual American Masters Lecture.
The talk and book signing will take place Monday, April 6, at 7 p.m. at Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple, 420 N. Washington Ave.
Tickets are free and will be available at the library system’s branches starting Wednesday, Feb. 5, and also at eventbrite.com starting Friday, Feb. 21.
Known for his humor, Sedaris has written 11 essay collections as well as “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk: A Modest Bestiary,” a fable collection with illustrations by Ian Falconer. He also has been a contributor to “CBS Sunday Morning.”
