Texas-based chain Bar Louie filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday and closed 38 locations throughout the country but the bar and restaurant at Mohegan Sun Pocono in Plains Twp. was not one of them.

Bar Louie, a chain known for its cocktails and burgers, has more than 90 locations throughout the U.S. and a spokeswoman said Monday she is not aware of any other closures planned at this time.

David Parfrey, vice president of marketing at Mohegan Sun Pocono, said there were no legal notices of an intent to close the Bar Louie location at Mohegan Sun Pocono and it is “business as usual.”

Officials from Bar Louie said the remaining restaurants will operate in the “normal course of business.” The chain expects to emerge from bankruptcy within 90 days.

Locations closed in Colorado, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin, according to national reports.
