The Lackawanna County Arts and Culture Department and the Arts, Culture and Education Council are partnering with the Scranton Fringe Festival for the 11th annual Wake Up with the Arts Breakfast, and they’re looking for artists to decorate tables for the event. The free breakfast will take place Friday, Oct. 4, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Scranton Cultural Center at The Masonic Temple, 420 N. Washington Ave.

Those interested in decorating must submit an application by Monday, Sept. 30, to Arts-Culture@lackawannacounty.org or Lackawanna Arts and Culture Deparmtnet, Electric City Trolley Museum, 300 Cliff St., Scranton, PA 18503. Selected artists will receive $30 for supplies and must include a centerpiece in the decoration. The organizers will provide 60-inch tables that can seat up to 10 people and white tablecloths, but artists can bring additional items to cover the table. Setup will take place Thursday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Friday, Oct. 4, before 8:30 a.m.

This year’s breakfast will feature guest speaker Dr. Xela Batchelder, who will discuss the global Fringe Festival movement.

To register for the breakfast, email arts-culture@lackawannacounty.org or call the Arts and Culture Department at 570- 963-6590, ext. 106.
