ALT 92.1 will present a three-day music festival over the airwaves this weekend.
“We were getting so bummed out about not having any concerts or festivals to talk about…so ALT 92.1 decided to make one, with your help,” the Times-Shamrock Communications radio station said in an announcement.
The Hang-In Festiv-ALT will run Friday, April 24, through Sunday, April 26, starting at 5 p.m. each day. Listeners will hear long sets of music by acts that ALT fans requested, including the Killers, Foo Fighters, Cage the Elephant, the Black Keys, Awolnation, Blue October, Blink-182, Queens of the Stone Age, the 1975, Glass Animals, Tigers Jaw and former NEPA-based group the Menzingers.
The station has announced Friday’s lineup and will reveal the others soon:
- 5 p.m.: The Menzingers
- 6 p.m.: The 1975
- 7 p.m.: Blue October
- 8 p.m.: Cage The Elephant
