Art for All Seasons is an art competition for area high school students sponsored by The Sunday Times and NEIU. A winner was picked for every month, and the students’ art will be displayed on the calendar page of Life&Times the last Sunday of each month and on AccessNEPA.
Artist’s statement
“When it comes to the four seasons, I am always drawn to fall the most. When I think of fall, I think of pumpkins and the leaves falling off the trees, so I had to incorporate those in some way. However, the rain boots are something I do not think people normally associate with fall. I wanted the boots to really stand out, yet still fit into the warm colors that fall is described with; hence the reddish/purple color scheme.”
